As the base unit, the GDI-IR1000 lacks a remote control and auxiliary jack, though it does an LCD display for making selections, rear-ported speakers for quality audio, and hookup ports for connecting to a home stereo system.

More importantly, the radio provides access to over 50,000 radio stations, podcasts and on-demand content from music services like Pandora, Live265 and Premium Sirius Internet radio. In addition, there is a Grace Remote control application that allows a user to control their Digital Innovator via their iPhone or iPod Touch. All that’s required to use the Grace Digital Innovator GDI-IR1000 is a Wi-Fi connection.
