NAD has selected high quality components for use in this amplifier, such as Class A input circuitry, gold plated RCA inputs and toroidal power transformers. The T 955 lacks a signal-sensing automatic turn-on feature, however the built-in 12V trigger produces a similar effect. The manufacturer recommends this product for use with a preamplifier for the best performance possible.
