The Olympus WS-510M is a digital voice recorder/music player that can record over 1000 hours of WMA audio and comes with 4GB of internal flash memory. All of the same features that are found in it's little brother, the Olympus WS-500M, are found here with the exception that this unit has twice the memory yet is only available in one color(WS-500M comes in Pink, Silver and Blue).

The flip-up USB connection means you just plug it directly into a computer, and the included NiMH AAA battery can be charged via USB as well. Audio recording is done through the built-in stereo microphone in high quality WMA (Windows Media Audio) at 44.1kHz for a total of almost 70 hours, while at the lowest rate 1088 hours may be recorded. Although it records only in WMA format, uploading 1000 MP3, WMA or WAV files from a computer is supported, turning this into a portable music player as well.

Headphone jack and earphones are included, as well as a microphone jack for hooking up an external mic. Other standard features include a five folder, two hundred file per folder storage system, the ability to put 16 index points along an audio file for quick referencing, repeat/rewind etc. MP3 player functions, and a large 1.23" white backlit LCD screen that can display in three languages.
