Sony ICD-PX720
$60.00
Released January, 2007
The Pros:Easy to hold and use - buttons are logically laid out. Excellent storage system--can hold up to 99 separate voice recordings in each of 5 different folders. Microphone picks up both high and low frequencies well with two sensitivity settings for individual and group recording.
The Cons:Only Windows compatible and even then it requires special software for file transfer rather than drag-and-drop use. Does NOT record data natively as MP3 (files must be converted with the included software). Nothing covers the USB port, making it more vulnerable to damage.
