The Sony SCD-XA5400ES is an upscale audio CD player designed for distortion free, high-quality audio. As well as playing CDs and SA-CDs, the unit also incorporates an uncompressed digital output for transmitting Direct Stream Digital signals via HDMI, making it a match with compatible A/V receivers.
